The shooting was reported around 9 p.m. and occurred at Campus Road and State University Drive.
The two people shot was a 14 year old who was shot in the stomach and 18 year old shot in the hand.
The shooting according to police may be in retaliation to a gang-related incident that occurred earlier in the day.
At about 9:50 p.m. I saw a notification on my phone and I rushed to campus to get as many photos as I could.
I texted my group of reporters and eventually found some one to write the story. We were nervous walking around the crime scene worried about whether the police would mistaken us for suspicious.
We scoured the campus climbing stairs and searched for the best vantage point. We were as lost as could be we didn't know what to do and who to talk to. Eventually we found a police officer jogging towards us buy as this shadowy figure approached t was not an officer. It was a sweaty gentleman gogging through the crime scene head phones blasting and flying by police cars with lights flashing totally oblivious to the crime scene he was running through.
