Kevin Durant, yes, that Kevin Durant the NBA star was a credentialed photographer at the superbowl, one of the biggest sports events in the United states. Because of his status and wealth he has been the target of jealous photographers who are bashing him for not having the "right" lens or not holding the camera "correctly" and having special treatment because he is a high profile athlete.
I personally think it's nothing more than jealousy. He was not doing it for fun to take spaces away from other photographers. He was shooting on behalf of the Players Tribune a legitimate sports news organization.
What do you think just because he is not the typical photographer or he may not be as seasoned as the other photographers that grace the sidelines of SB50 does he deserve the hate?
