New bench by King Hall

Today at Cal State LA by King Hall there was a ribbon cutting ceremony today for the "Children's Memorial Bench" donated by students of CSULA Maltreatment and Family Violence Certificate Program. The bench is a memorial to children who have suffered abuse or neglect.

I was not feeling very well today but decided to cover this event anyways because i thought it was interesting. The event lasted no more than half an hour if that. The new president of CSULA William A. Covino gave a short speech and so did others. It was a tiny event maybe about 20 people. It was very hot and uncomfortable,being sick did not help. I got about 50 pictures and I chose 13. The pictures were average nothing amazing I just didn't have the energy.
