Shooting (photos of course) planes flying through the Blue Moon

The blue moon, of course, is not actually blue. It's just the second full moon of the month, and this blue moon will be the last until 2018. Hence the saying "Once in a blue moon" because it happens somewhat infrequently.

I arrived at the spot a  little late and unfortunately the group changed locations which made me a lot late. Eventually I found the place and got introduced to all the folks there and the Canon cameras representative. He brought out the new Canon 5Ds body with it's 50.6 megapixels and two lenses 200-400mm F4 with the built in 1.4x teleconverter, and  the behemoth 800mm F5.6 lens worth about $14,000.

This being the second time with the Lunartics, I was hoping for better luck than my first time when the moon played hide and seek and I came home empty handed.

So without further ado here are some photos!
